Saudi Cleric -Shia infidels

THE BIGOTS AMONG US
Saudi cleric issues religious edict declaring Shiites to be infidels

The article below is inciting and ridiculous. No Muslim will subscribe to this non-sense unless they are paid to do it.

Whatever City you live in, you do have the traffic rules. If every Citizen follows it, then there is no need for the Traffic police writing the tickets, Lawyers defending them, Sign makers posting the signs, Judges making the decision and a whole department to handle the issues.

Whatever nation you live in, you do have the business laws to keep every one honest.
Whichever democracy you live, you do have the laws that are built in with checks and balances to keep the governance accountable.

Whatever Religion you belong to, you do have the Religion laws to discourage individuals from doing bad things. Every key representative of religion has abused that power from Pope down right to the Imams and every one in between.

In this group of articles, we will present stupidities a few Muslim Spiritual leaders make. For other religions, we will handle in the Pluralism group - www.FoundationforPluralism.com and this one is Muslim focused. This piece will also be repeated at the Shia-Sunni dialogue we are about to start.

I urge every Muslim to condemn this non-sense. Every word of it is idiotic and un-Islamic. If we don't condemn this non-sense, it may be perceived as we are a part of it. We are not. No Muslim will subscribe to this unless they are paid to do it. After reading the piece below you can make your comments at the link given below. Insha Allah, when the website is done, it will remain in the website.
I urge every Muslim to condemn this non-sense. Every word of it is idiotic and un-Islamic.

Saudi cleric issues religious edict declaring Shiites to be infidels

The Associated Press Published: December 29, 2006

CAIRO, Egypt: A top Saudi Arabian Sunni cleric on Friday declared Shiites around the world to be infidels who should be considered worse than Jews or Christians, the latest sign of increasing sectarianism in the Middle East.

Abdul Rahman al-Barak, one of the top several Wahhabi clerics in Saudi Arabia and considered close to the Kingdom's royal family, also urged Sunnis worldwide to oppose reconciliation with Shiites. The Wahhabi stream of Sunni Islam that is followed in Saudi Arabia is conservative and views Shiites as heretics.

"By and large, rejectionists (Shiites) are the most evil sect of the nation and they have all the ingredients of the infidels," Abdul Rahman wrote in a fatwa, or religious edict, that was posted on his web site Friday.

"The general ruling is that they are infidels, apostates and hypocrites," he wrote. "They are more dangerous than Jews and Christians," he wrote in the edict, which Abdul Rahman said was in response to a question from a follower.

Like most hardline Sunnis, Abdul Rahman employed the word "rejectionists," used as a derogatory term to describe Shiites because they opted out of the Sunni school of Islamic theology.
Healsosaid the sect was the work of a Jewish conspiracy.
Abdul Rahman's remarks comes amid concern by many Sunni Arabs about what they perceive as a Shiite revival following the 2003 war that toppled Saddam Hussein in Iraq. They include Jordan's King Abdullah and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

Earlier this month, Nawaf Obeid, an adviser to the Saudi embassy in Washington, spoke of "massive Saudi intervention to stop Iranian-backed Shiite militias from butchering Iraqi Sunnis" if the United States withdraws from the country. Saudi citizens are also reportedly raising funds for Sunni insurgents in Iraq.

Earlier this month, about 30 prominent Saudi Wahhabi clerics called on Sunni Muslims around the Middle East to support their brethren in Iraq against Shiites and praised the anti-American insurgency.

Thousands of Iraqis have been killed this year in sectarian bloodshed between the majority Shiites and the Sunni Arab minority, who lost their dominance after the fall of Saddam Hussein. Saudi Arabia, like most Arab countries, is predominantly Sunni but has a significant Shiite minority.

  1. In the name of ALLAH. Peace be with you.

I have written yous before about all Islamic country's uniting. A Revelation came to me as for a plan. This plan is based on trust. The first step is to unite all of the collages and university's and research projects via the Internet. I know you have heard of stem cell research. This is a smoke screen. There is a technology out called Nano- technology. In 25 years the nanobots will have the capacity when injected into the blood stream of say a person with cancer. The nanobots will cure the cancer. Thereafter the nans will cure any and all disease the person might get. People Will live forever! All truth and technology belongs to Muslims. Already type 2 diabetes has been cured in dogs.
    2. I need each country's religious counsel's to put out Media ads expressing the love Muslim's have for one another. For example. "Smile. This is an act of charity every one can afford." Show people smiling. This ad brought to you by the Islamic religious counsel of etc... or " A human being need 11 hugs a day. How many hugs have you had?".Show people hugging. I need you to get some advertising people working on this. I will contact you soon. Your trusted servant of ALLAH, Pierre. I am becoming a member of masjid as- sabur. Located at 711 Morgan Street Las Vegas, NV 702-647-2500. We Muslim's are not an army of hard hearted robots all looking to make war. The Prophet [Peace and blessing of ALLAH be upon him] said for us to love one another.all ALLAH ask of us is that we give each other love.
    3. I need to move the heroin trade in Afghanistan from illegal to legal by having a drug company come in to make morphine to sell on the world market. Also to do research on the poppy. Let's face it the poppy is part of our history. So let's have our people make a decent wage for it. The black market is keeping our people in poverty. Buying low and selling high. I hear on the news about the production in Afghanistan is high. Mexico has black tar and China has china white but I don't hear about there production but I see the results of it on the streets of America.

    more to come!

I clearly see your earnest desire to unite the Muslim Umma (nation. Your starting point for that is "Trust" among nations. How will we build that trust. Who will take that first step of trusting the other. Who will lay down the procedure for taking trust buiding steps. These are questions that must be answered before we can even have a hope of uniting the Muslim nation.

Allah has a plan for this. He always did and will always have it. Allah says in the Quran that he never changes Hid Sunnah. What is his Sunnah when it comes to getting people together? He, and only He, appoints a Prophet and makes it mandatory for all good souls to follow that Prophet. When a group of people have a leader they become one. Allah stands by them and protects them. This Sunnah of Allah has not changed. Allah still appoints Prophets (Not Law bearing). As long as we follow the Imam of this age ( a prophet) we will remain a united nation. If we reject Allah's Prophet's leadership we will never have that trust that you wish.

I urge all my Muslim brothers to seriously consider and look into thee claims of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, India. The leader of the Ahmadi Muslims. He leads a group of Muslims that are over 100 Million in number and are in 195 countries. These Ahmadi Muslims come in all colours, from different societies, cultures, backgrounds and coubtries. They follow one leader and hence are united and are very peaceful. I would say the same about the followers of Prince Agha Khan and of the Pope.

Leadership is the key element. However, a leader appointed by God is better than one appointed by man. When God appoints a leader He stands by him, He guides him and supports him. With God's support we can unite and help others be a part of us.

Planned Muslim Response to Qur'an Burning by Pastor Jones on September 11 in Mulberry, Florida

PLANNED MUSLIMS RESPONSE TO QUR'AN BURNING BY PASTOR JONES ON 9/11/13 IN MULBERRY, FLORIDA

We as Muslims plan to respond to pastor Terry Jones' planned burning of 3000 copies of Quran on September 11, 2013 in positive terms.

Our response - we will reclaim the standard of behavior practiced by the Prophet concerning “scurrilous and hostile criticism of the Qur’an” (Muhammad Asad Translation Note 31, verse 41:34). It was "To overcome evil with good is good, and to resist evil by evil is evil." It is also strongly enjoined in the Qur’an in the same verse 41:34, “Good and evil deeds are not equal. Repel evil with what is better; then you will see that one who was once your enemy has become your dearest friend.”

God willing Muslims will follow the divine guidance and pray for the restoration of Goodwill, and on that day many Muslim organizations will go on a “blood drive” to save lives and serve humanity with kindness.

We invite fellow Americans of all faiths, races, and ethnicities to join us to rededicate the pledge, “One nation under God”, and to build a cohesive America where no American has to live in apprehension, discomfort or fear of fellow Americans. This event is a substitute for our 10th Annual Unity Day Celebration (www.UnitydayUSA.com) held in Dallas, but now it will be at Mulberry, Florida.

Unwittingly Pastor Jones has done us a favor by invigorating us by his decision to burn nearly 3000 copies Quran on September 11, 2013. Obviously he is not satisfied by the notoriety he garnered by burning one Qur'an last year.

As Muslims and citizens we honor the free speech guaranteed in our constitution. We have no intentions to criticize, condemn or oppose Pastor Terry Jones' freedom of expression. Instead, we will be donating blood and praying for goodness to permeate in our society.

We plan to follow Jesus Christ (pbuh), a revered prophet in Islam as well as Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) – that of mitigating the conflicts and nurturing good will for the common good of the society.

We hope, this event and the message will remind Muslims elsewhere in the world as well, that violence is not the way. Muslims, who react violently to senseless provocation, should realize that, violence causes more violence, and besmirches the name of the religion that we hold so dear. We believe that Prophet Muhammad was a mercy to the mankind, and we ought to practice what we believe and preach. We must not insult Islam by the negative reactions of a few.

We can only hope it will bring about a change in the attitude of the followers of Pastor Jones, and in the behavior of those Muslims who reacted violently the last time Pastor sought notoriety – We hope this small step towards a bridge to peaceful coexistence would propel us towards building a cohesive society.

Like most Americans a majority of Muslims quietly go about their own business, but it is time to speak up and take positive action instead of negative reaction. May this message of peace and goodwill reverberate and reach many shores.

Lastly, we appreciate the Citizens of Mulberry, Florida, Honorable Mayor George Hatch, City Commissioners, police and Fire Chiefs for handing this situation very well. This will add a ‘feather of peace’ in the City’s reputation. We hope Mulberry will be a catalyst in showing the way in handling conflict with dignity and peace.

We thank the Media for giving value to the work towards peace rather than conflict.

CIVIL DIALOGUE

The people in Dallas are making an effort to understand and clean their own hearts first, when we are free from bias, it would be easy to share that with others. Islam teaches us in so many ways to "respect the otherness of others" and it is time we find simple practical ways of doing it.
