Muslims condemn Murdering Ahmadiyya Muslims inIndonesia
Muslims condemn Murdering Ahmadiyya Muslims in
Certainly Quraan does not support it.
The only condonable killing is in self-defense, even then the scripture commands you to back off, if you see the signs that the offender is backing off, the best among you is the one who forgives and the forgiver is one of the dearest beings to God.
These Muslim-labeled men are hiding behind religion for their evil acts and shame on us, as a society for according them that false label and allowing them carry on those acts as if Islam sanctions it.
As a society, we should condemn every aggression and murder regardless of the label the killers use; religion, security, politics, democracy, capitalism, collateral damage, communism, progress, Quraan, Gita, Bible or the Torah. There simply is no justification for any murder.
There is belligerency among a few Muslims; they are so arrogant that they knock God out his seat and take over judging other people's faith, shame on us we are letting them take over God’s role, he alone is the master of the day of judgment. You cannot judge other peoples faith, it is between them and their creator. Only God knows what is in one’s heart and there are numerous examples and stories in Quraan about it.
The silent majority of Muslims do not approve this, but at least a few of them need to speak up. This is not acceptable and we express this disgust by signing the name below.
As a Muslim I will urge Muslims to condemn any evil act. We cannot allow religious stamp on the evil things men do. It is up to Hindus, Jews, Christians and others to do their work in the name of their faith if their faith is used to justify crimes.
We must resist temptations to point fingers at others; it amounts to justification of our own wrong doing. Each one of us is answerable to the creator for our silence, just like each one of us will receive a traffic ticket for speeding, others get away on the same road, but there is nothing we can do about it. We were wrong and it is our own responsibility to fix ourselves. If we do that, then our voice will carry value.
You and I have the power to express, we can boldly say that using religion to kill any one is wrong, that is the least we can do.
I hope and pray that the community of nations and societies treat this as capital crime and every one involved in killing must be punished.
I request that this note or a different note be circulated among the “silent people” to let them sign, a first step in being righteous.
Are you gutsy enough to sign up? If you are, write your name and the name of your town down in the comments section. Or create your own appeal and do it, but please do it.
Please join Mike Ghouse to nurture the pluralistic ideals embedded in Islam. Islam is about justice and fairness and balance in a society, that is all God wants in Quraan (49:13); for us to get along. http://www.worldmuslimcongress.net/

The Quran says: 109:1-6 -to you your belief, to me mine. So why are the Ahmadiyyas being murdered? What scripture supports this terrible travesty of justice?

ReplyDeleteWhich Muslims are condemning Murdering Ahmadiyya Muslims in Indonesia? Can you give links to CAIR, ISNA, MPAC statements?
This Muslim and Muslims who subsribe to this idea, if you have the guts to put your name to it.
ReplyDeleteI fully agree with Mr Mike Ghouse, It is entirely upto God to decide or decode one's faith out of his heart. God only knows the hearts, He is the knower of seen and unseen. Killing of any human being, particularly if that human being is just minding his own business is seriously wrong. any body who supports this is also wrong, any body who do not condemn this act of violence is wrong. Silence of moderate Muslims, which is majority, is letting them do these henious attacks day in and day out. If this is Islam, to kill a human being just because his beliefs are different, if this is the only measure of how strong a muslim you are, then I am this kind of Muslim. I am ready to choose any other religion other than Islam. But I know, I am a reader of Quran and am a full believer in the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad. I will quote an example here. One day a companion of the Prophet came to the Holy Prophet and told him that I killed a kafir during a war, but while I was about to kill him, he read the Kalima, but I still killed him because he was saying Kalima under the fear of sword. Holy Prophet became very upset, so upset that his face became red. He said to his companion, that you killed a believer. Compansion said that he read the Kalima out of fear of the sword. The Holy Prophet ( Mercy for the Whole Mankind) said to him, that did you tear his heart to see if he is reading of his heart or fear of sword?. Holy prophet then said what will you do when Kalima will come infront of you on the day of Judgment, what will you do. He kept on saying this several times. The companion felt so embarassed and guilt that he wished that earth cleave open and he could bury in this. Just reading this example I can even imagine even touching a soul. How we can tell that our faith or beliefs are the best one? How we can become God?, How we can act as a Prophet, through whom we learned the Islam. By God this is not the teaching of Prophet Muhmmad, on whom my soul is sacrificed. This is perverted view of barbaric human beings wearing the clothes of Muslims. Imagine a mob of 1500 or so people attacking your house. This is failure of whole Indonesian Government, whole civilized world, whole humanity, whole Muslim world, and the irony is that this is being done in the name of Allah, name of Islam, name of the Prophet who was mercy for the Whole Mankind, under whose umbrella several thousand human beings took refuge whether muslims or nonmuslims. I hope that this incident is an eyeopener to all the humanity

Very well-written article Mike Ghouse on the current situation in Indonesia one of the largest Islamic country in the world, I agree with you Mike that It is entirely unto God to decide or decode one's faith out of his heart. But I have a question to all those who believe in Allah Almighty:
ReplyDelete1- Did Allah asked in any Holy Scriptures for His Believers to Kill Non-believers?
2- Did Prophet Abraham asked or teaches his believers to Kill non-Believers.?
3- Did Prophet Moses asked or teaches his followers/ believers to Kill NON-Believers or innocent peoples?
3- Did Prophet Esa asked or teaches his followers/ believers to Kill NON-Believers or innocent peoples?
I hope the answer to all above question will be NO, NO, NOT at all.
4-What about Prophet Muhammad, did he asked or teaches his followers/ believers to Kill NON-Believers or innocent peoples?????
Muslims brothers to think, which direction are you going on?
The Holy Quran described the Prophet of ISLAM as Rehmatul-Aalameen “And we have sent thee not but as a MERCY for all Peoples" Al-Quran 21:108
Does the Followers of Prophet Muhammad follow his teachings??? Did we have any example of this brutal killing of innocent peoples in the followers of Abraham/Moses/& Esa as happened in Cikeusik Indonesia?
Moderate Muslims must think about this, after all sooner or later we all have to Meet Allah Almighty and as per Quran, Allah will be the judge on the day of Resurrection and will see who is right and who is wrong Al-Quran 2:114. Who are we to judge who is Muslim or not a Muslim? Be righteous on your Faith; know the true Islam follow the teaching of Quran or visit www.alislam.org for more information
Allah (SWT) has entrusted this generation of Muslims with Islam itself. As Mike says, members of the "silent majority" must speak up and act.
